The Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK) have claimed responsibility for the attack in Ankara in which 37 people died.
The group made a statement on their website saying the attack was a 'revenge attack' against the Turkish state's military operations in Kurdish cities.
The statement also emphasises that police security forces were targeted in the attack not civilians.
TAK said the attack was carried out by Seher Cagla Demir, nom-de-guerre Doga Jiyan.
The group, which criticises the PKK for being 'feeble' and 'humanitarian,' also claimed responsibility for the February attack in Ankara.
